Other News/Events from the past year:

 Youthworker project

Angie has been very hard at work over the past 10 months organising events and activities for the young people of Southwater. We are confident that her work will really make us a bigger part of the community in Southwater, and also provide safe and friendly places for young people to go.

We are always looking for volunteers to help Angie in several of the events or groups that are planned. Please contact us if you are interested in contributing to any of these.

Read about Soul Survivor 2007 below and join us for SOUL SURVIVOR 2008: 

During the summer a group of young people travelled to Somerset to a large youth conference called Soul Survivor. Along with ten thousand other teenagers we had a fantastic time worshipping and learning, but also having fun! The group also consisted of Rev Kath, Angie Choat and several other adults who helped to make the week run smoothly and they deserved a long lie down at the end of the week... Our group was a mixture of young people from SCMC, St Andrews Methodist Church and London Road Methodist Church. It was an awesome opportunity to spend time with other young Christians and to see God at work in our lives. Looking forward to next year already! Click here for the Soul Survivor Website.
