moving houseThe Leadership Team have now formed two fortnightly small groups – meeting on Wednesday/Thursday nights (NB: as yet there is insufficient support for a daytime group, but we will keep you posted). There is still time to sign up to either of these groups, which are open to all, whether SCMC Members or not. The alternate Wednesday/Thursday will see a variety of social activities also open to all (and you can go to either night’s stuff if you wish!).

The early church grew from a solid and committed base of household meetings, where people met for social friendship, for mutual support and fellowship, for Bible study, and for the opportunity to seek God’s direction and healing. We are committed to growth and so we see such groups as essential.

Even if you have chosen to opt out of the home groups you will be placed in a bigger group (pastorate) of which the small group is a part. The small groups have the task to ensure that everyone in their pastorate is kept up to date with their group’s chosen study programmes, and will keep you informed about social events to which you are welcome.
