At SCMC we believe that God has called us in the village of Southwater to celebrate life, serve the community and change lives through him! Please the take the time to look around the site. We hold weekly services at Southwater Junior Academy but also run a range of events throughout the week!
This Sunday morning we collected Harvest gifts during our service, including monetary donations for Tearfund, and a collection of food for the Horsham District Foodbank. Tearfund are running a Harvest Appeal to distribute food and agricultural supplies to those in need in Chad, the communities of which have been hit hard by devastating drought and ruined harvests. If you’d like to find out more about the appeal and making donations, visit www.tearfund.org/en/latest/harvest_appeal/.
For many, the answer to living a full life is found in ticking off a bucket list of experiences and adventures. I wanted to share what Jesus says about a full life in John 10:10. This fun 3-minute evangelistic video challenges people to realise that our bucket list won’t ultimately fulfil us….only a relationship with God will give us life to the full.
