At SCMC we believe that God has called us in the village of Southwater to celebrate life, serve the community and change lives through him!

New Alpha Course

Alpha – Introductory Meal 19th Jan 7.30pm. 10 Sessions from 26th Jan. Alpha is a low-pressure, fun and informative course. It is a place to relax, share your thoughts and explore the meaning of life. The course is designed primarily for people who don’t go to church, but are interested in the Christian faith. The Alpha course is designed primarily for people who aren’t churchgoers.It attracts a diverse range of guests, including people of different ages and backgrounds, all with differing viewpoints. There is no charge for attending the Alpha course. All questions are welcome on the Alpha course. The course is designed for people to freely ask the tough questions about life and the Christian faith. Guests do Alpha for a variety of reasons; some want to investigate whether God exists or question what happens after death, whereas others come to discuss particular questions, understand other peoples’ beliefs or explore the meaning of life.
