Hi! We hope that these pages will give you some idea about us, what we believe as Christians, the kind of things we get up to, and what to expect if you come along to any of our meetings in Southwater. At SCMC we believe that God has called us in the village of Southwater to celebrate life, serve the community and change lives through him!

ALPHA

Thursday Homegroup has now completed hosting the Alpha course.

Once again it has proved to have been significant in the lives of those who have attended and lead the course.

It has been a joy to have been alongside those who have had some faith, lots of faith and no faith at all. Each of us has been touched by God in a profoundly significant and surprising way. We have enjoyed our discussions and look forward to continuing learning together and supporting one another when life throws us the unexpected.

I think everyone involved would thoroughly recommend the course and encourage one another to continue to meet and share this journey, where there are always more questions and more answers to be found.

Thursday Homegroup looks forward to welcoming our new members from Alpha and joining together in our exploration of faith and experiencing God together.
